How Tomake A Jig Doll

April 8, Great Guana HARBOUR, ABACOS

New island, new discoveries ... Out of Man-O-War to navigate Easter Sunday 1: 15 pm and arrive at Bakers Bay, located on the tip northwest of the island of Great Guana Cay. We are anchored in a large pool with a sandy beach to boot. The environment seems more wild but it is misleading. After a quick dinner and a little nap, we went for a snorkeling and fishing and Yvon Richard. Skirting the edge to go to sea on the reef, we discover a''resort''a superb beach, with all equipment like those found in a Club Med. It's private, not allowed to visit but it seems fine.

Monday we decided to walk on the beach discover that the marina is hidden behind a long entrance channel. Being new, it is not advertised on our maps. A 45-minute walk on a pink sand and fine as flour leads us to the marina. WOW! Beautiful! A huge marina (150 slips, Mark and Louise you want it) with luxury condos, pool, small bar on the pier, beautiful gardens, golf, beach, a true holiday village, exudes luxury and not finished yet, there is still construction, but it bodes well for the future. This private development owned by Discovery Land Company. ... But you can buy a condo or villa, prices ranging between 2 and 12 million as you can see, we are sailing in the waters of the rich and famous ... We did not find as much beauty and luxury in the Abacos is a nice surprise.

back to our life a little simpler but equally enjoyable. Tuesday, we'll take a walk on a small island surrounded by a beautiful beach right in front of our anchorage, there are many corals, we discover that he has concha, the men will return in late afternoon plunge afternoon to catch our supper. We bring full of shells.

Wednesday morning we make a big move for us 2 minutes and anchor at Great Guana Cay. We find civilization with its bars, groceries, marinas, etc. Souvenirs. This is not a big village but it's nice. Yvon was the water carrier, it still do not like .. The water is free in the Abacos, it's not like the Exumas in here cost .35 c per gallon but as is a necessity, then you pay ... we have a 60 gallon tank, do the math ...

Thursday, a long walk on the beach, stop at the grocery store (there were arrival this morning, the mailboat is passed), Judgement at Nippers (small sea side bar with great music) and to finish the day setting Update blog. Starting tomorrow for Treasure Island to spend a few days. It seems that the beach is one of the most beautiful in the world. I'll be able to confirm it next time.

you soon ...

*** Last night, internet was not strong enough to publish the blog, now we are sailing to Treasure Cay and I'm online. It's special, it's the first time this has happened, so I can publish.
